Full job description
The Banff Aspen Lodge is in search of a full time Dishwasher. You'll play an essential role in ensuring our complimentary morning breakfast service runs smoothly. Responsible for cleaning dishes for the Aspen Lodge’s complimentary morning breakfast, kitchen items from breakfast and Whitebark Cafe. Daily duties include dishwashing and ensuring a sanitized, clean and tidy environment and assisting with light/basic food preparation as needed. Hours are typically 35+/week (usually around 40), starting 5:30am. Candidates must be reliable for early morning starts. Staff accommodations are available.

Required Qualifications:

· Ability to speak, write and read English is required, additional languages is an asset

· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

· Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledgeable in proper health & safety procedures and safe food handling. (Training can be provided)

Other Information:

· Full Time Permanent Position

· Starting Wage: $18-20 hour plus tips. Performance review after 3 months and potential wage increase.

· Hours per Week: 32 - 40 hours – subject to the business of hotel. Typically 35+ and usually around 40.
