Full job description
IMPORTANT: We currently DO NOT have staff accommodation available. Applicants must have their own accommodation secured within the Bow Valley.

Come wrench with us in Banff.

Mountain Men Mechanics is looking for a Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our growing crew of mechanics and apprentices.

We’re not interested in being just another repair shop. Our goal is pretty simple: build the best shop this side of the Mississippi.

If you’re a skilled technician who takes pride in their work, likes being part of a solid team, and wants the opportunity to grow with a locally established company, we want to meet you.

Who We Are:

Mountain Men Mechanics has been operating in Banff since 2016 and is backed by our parent company, Banff Airporter, which has been serving the Bow Valley for 27 years.

We’re entrepreneurial, we’re growing, and we believe the people doing the work should share in the success.

That means competitive, top-rate pay, a strong team environment, and an opportunity to make your mark as we continue building the business.

The Shop:

We operate out of a large, fully equipped shop in Banff’s industrial compound.

You'll be working with:

A 100-foot service pit
Two 2-post hoists
One 4-post hoist
Alignment equipment
A variety of customer vehicles and fleet vehicles
We provide automotive service to the Banff community while also maintaining and servicing commercial fleets, so there’s plenty of variety in the work.

Who We’re Looking For:

First and foremost, you need to be a Red Seal Automotive Technician.

Beyond the ticket, we care a lot about the person joining the crew.

We’re looking for someone who brings skill, reliability, a great attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to work as part of a team. We want someone who takes pride in solving problems, doing quality work, and helping the people around them get better.

What you'll need:

Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
Your own tools
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Reliability and a strong work ethic
A team-first attitude
Your own accommodation secured within the Bow Valley
Hours & Compensation

Typical shop hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with your specific schedule and days of work to be determined.

Your starting hourly rate will reflect the experience and skills you bring to the shop and will be discussed during the interview process.

Interested?

If you’re a Red Seal tech looking for good people, interesting work, competitive pay, and the chance to help build something great in Banff, we’d love to hear from you.

Come meet the crew and see what Mountain Men Mechanics is all about.
