SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the seasonal position of Reservations Agent / Snow School Lead to join our team for the 25-26 winter season.

Reporting to the Manager of People Operations and the Reservations Manager, the primary focus of the person in this role is to provide overall support for the Snow School and Reservations teams, ensuring that both teams work collaboratively to effectively optimize the sale and fulfillment of snow school lessons and Guided Adventures. The Reservations Agent / Snow School Lead will be performing daily duties & responsibilities as outlined below:

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Snow School Support:

Assist with instructor hiring and contracting (if necessary)
Assist with organizing Snow School staff onboarding and orientation
Schedule meetings and training days together with the Manager of People Operations
Full use and set-up of instructor scheduling software
Organize Reservations & Adventure Hub staff early season Snow School PKs.
Responsible for instructor scheduling
Provide off and on-snow support for large groups
Provide support for the Nonstop Assisted Teaching program
Uniform distribution and inventory
Yearly review and update of Snow School training manual
Daily instructor management & grouping (multi-day & multi-family/groups bookings). (work with sales team and tour operators)
Documentation of Snow School procedures
Instructor payroll, commission and time off tracking
Instructor waiver tracking
Track monthly Res & Hub Snow School selling incentives
Distribute Snow School survey and track guest feedback
Reservations Support:

Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
Generating quotes in reservations booking system for individual ski vacation packages including lodging, lift tickets, ski rental, Snow School, airport transfers, and non-skiing activities as well as season passes
Consulting with guests and tailoring custom packages to suit needs, whilst managing guest expectations
Ability to convert quotes into confirmed bookings and upsell additional products where relevant
Troubleshooting and solving any issues or concerns with guests’ travel itineraries
Follow-up phone calls for establishing status, trip details, obtaining overdue payments
Creating and administering third party activity and shuttle bookings with our partners for non-ski activities
Required Skills & Experience:

Ability to learn systems including reservations, ticket and pass and scheduling software.
Must be passionate about skiing/snowboarding
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Computer skills in Word, Excel and ‘Outlook’ essential.
Previous reservations and scheduling experience is preferred.
Team orientated.
Detail oriented.
Professional.
High level of autonomy with that “go-getter” attitude and enthusiasm.
Other Requirements:

Ability to legally work in Canada required.
A driver’s license with a clean 3-year record is considered an asset
