Starting at 16 but make up to 25/hr as per monthly commission! Monod Sports is family owned and operated outdoor sports retailer that has been operating in the heart of Banff since 1949! Role Summary:

You will be the face of Monod Sports, interacting with all of our customers by providing product knowledge and recommendations based on their needs. Ensuring all customers receive nothing short of the best experience while in our store is what will drive your daily activities.

Responsibilities:

· Sell merchandise to customers and provide customer service.

· Engage with customers in a friendly manor to provide advice and help with product related questions.

· Operate point of sales terminal, handle cash and credit/debit transactions.

· Maintain merchandise displays and restock products.

· Complete inventory checks as part of our inventory management system.

· Participate in Product Knowledge Sessions to learn about all the great gear we stock.

Requirements:

· Outdoors experience (hiking, skiing, climbing) and familiarity with the products and brands in the store

· Previous retail sales experience is an asset

· Flexible availability including evening and weekends

· Strong oral communication skills
