DETAILS: Located in Lake Louise Valid Canadian Work-Permit Required for International Applicants Full-time position, average of 32-40 hours per week First 90 days: $17.25 per hour After 90 days: $18.75 per hour $2/hr summer incentive bonus for every regular time hour worked between May 22nd - October 8th (conditions apply) JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Outlet Manager, a Food & Beverage Host is responsible for seating guests and running food while ensuring guest satisfaction. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet guests upon arrival in a timely manner Ensure that all set-ups are correct and complete Explain the menu specials and introduce server Maintain a professional and pleasant appearance at all times Run beverages and food in a timely manner Appropriately and promptly clear and clean tables in a timely manner Perform other related duties as required by the Restaurant Manager Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times Ensure that restaurant is maintained clean, safe and secure Ensure the Guest Service Standards, Hotel Policies and Procedures are maintained at all times Complete daily and weekly checklists are complete Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recycling Other related duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous customer service experience preferred ProServe Certificate Energetic, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity Excellent customer service skills Highly organized and detail oriented Work well under pressure, without supervision, independently and as a member of a team Able to perform well in a fast-paced work environment Good communication skills Ability to lift heavy trays filled with glassware/food up to 30lbs Health & Safety Responsibilities: Ensure all Health & Safety Policies/Procedures are being followed Must be able to deal with irate, intoxicated guests Trained to handle burglaries/thefts Lake Louise Inn is an equal opportunity employer.
