We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team and contribute to our legacy of excellence.

Position Summary

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will take a lead role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. You will work on a variety of projects, guide apprentices, and ensure all work meets Alberta Electrical Code standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications
Lead and mentor apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Ensure compliance with Alberta Electrical Code and OH&S regulations
Operate tools, testing equipment, and machinery safely and effectively
Qualifications

Valid Alberta or Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician certification
Minimum 2 years post-certification experience preferred
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites
Strong understanding of electrical theory, code, and safe work practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Effective communication and leadership skills
CSTS and First Aid certification an asset (can be provided)
