Henry’s Electric Service is a trusted electrical contractor serving the Bow Valley and surrounding regions for over 75 years. We're committed to developing the next generation of tradespeople and are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as First Year Electrical Apprentices.

Position Summary

As a First Year Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced journeypersons and learn how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a variety of environments. This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to begin a career in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with installation of wiring, conduit, lighting, panels, and other electrical components
Read and interpret electrical drawings and code specifications
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow safety protocols and company procedures
Participate in ongoing training and development
Support journeypersons and senior apprentices as needed
Qualifications

Registered or willing to register as an Apprentice with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites
Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude
Basic understanding of tools and construction safety is an asset
CSTS and First Aid certification an asset (can be provided)
