SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the seasonal position of Revenue Auditor to join our team for the 24/25 winter season.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the primary focus of the person in this role is to ensure timely and accurate revenue audit, banking and reporting functions meeting weekly and monthly deadlines. The Revenue Auditor will be responsible for daily sales and receipt entries into the accounting system, producing reports for internal and external use as well as maintaining internal accounting schedules and workbooks.

The person in this role will connect with other SkiBig3 departments and resorts, (Banff Sunshine/Lake Louise Ski Resort/Mt Norquay) and SkiBig3 partners.

The Revenue Auditor will be performing daily duties & responsibilities outlined below:

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Accounting Operations:

Timely collection and collation of revenue documents from retail locations, integrated systems and resorts.
Accurate counting, recording and depositing of cheques and cash receipts.
Liaise with retail and resort teams to feedback, resolve and provide training on errors and formatting issues.
Liaise with IT and reservations team on data mapping issues.
Entering daily sales and receipts into Sage accounting system.
Maintain internal revenue document filing to meet auditing requirements.
Update and maintain schedules of completed cash outs.
Prepare invoices for Travel Trade and adhoc revenues as assigned by AR Analyst.
Reconcile refunds from merchants to Sage, Vouchers, Partner Tickets, B2B updates
Plan and implement continuous process improvements
Support systems and process that move toward the goal of paperless accounting
Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:

Post-secondary education in accounting, or comparable technical work experience.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Sage)
Previous experience in accounts receivable is an asset.
Previous experience in tourism industry an asset
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly self-motivated and team orientated
Personable with high integrity and sense of fun
