SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the seasonal position of Inside Sales/Reservations Agent to join our team for the 24/25 winter season.

Reporting to the Sales & Reservations Managers, the primary focus of the person in this role will be to support the third-party resellers of Skibig3 products and ensure smooth booking and fulfillment for tour operators and local businesses and partners. The person in this role will also provide sales support for the reservations department as required.

The person in this role will connect with other SkiBig3 departments and resorts, (Banff Sunshine/Lake Louise Ski Resort/Mt Norquay), as well as partners consisting of third-party tour operators, hotels, activity providers, and groups.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Sales Support:

Contract generation, distribution & tracking
Rate and promotion loading for third-party sellers
System Support – ensuring all third-party partners have their partner booking portal accounts setup and have usage information – assistance with booking changes/cancellations.
Group bookings support
Hotel & MCIT booking support
Reservations Support:

Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
Generating quotes in reservations booking system for individual ski vacation packages including lodging, lift tickets, ski rental, snow school, airport transfers, and non-skiing activities as well as season passes
Consulting with guests and tailoring custom packages to suit needs, whilst managing guest expectations
Ability to convert quotes into confirmed bookings and upsell additional products where relevant
Troubleshooting and solving any issues or concerns with guest’ travel itineraries
Follow-up phone calls for establishing status, trip details, obtaining overdue payments
Creating and administering third party activity and shuttle bookings with our partners for non-ski activities
Required Skills & Experience:

Previous administrative experience required, displaying the highest level of attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in a resort-based reservations/ inbound call center environment an asset
Previous Sales experience – Travel/ Tourism industry highly regarded
Exceptional communication skills and phone manner
Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to independently manage own time
Demonstrated computer skills - strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), knowledge of reservations systems, is an asset.
Previous customer service experience - Friendly, outgoing, excellent guest service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments
Other Requirements:
