We are seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk services. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead by example, overseeing a team of front desk agents, and setting the standard for impeccable customer service. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns will be essential in maintaining our high standards of hospitality. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:
Supervise and lead the front desk team, including front desk agents and concierge staff.
Monitor and manage guest check-in and check-out procedures, resolving any guest issues or concerns.
Train and mentor front desk staff, providing ongoing guidance and performance feedback.
Maintain accurate records of room availability, rates, and reservations using hotel management software.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Oversee cash handling procedures, including auditing cash drawers and preparing daily reports.
Manage guest billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
Assist in the preparation of occupancy reports, financial statements, and other administrative tasks.
Additional tasks as required.
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in front desk operations, with a minimum of 1 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Self-motivator with outgoing personality, strong interpersonal communication and commitment to providing a high level of guest service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and numerical proficiency is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
