Competitive Salary:

$48,000 - $54,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and education.


Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the department and ensure operational service standards are followed
Ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the resort property at all times
Establish and maintain constructive, supportive and professional colleague relationships
Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments as required
Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
Manage the departmental budget in a fiscally responsible manner
Responsible for the recruitment, training and ongoing performance management of all Housekeeping Colleagues
Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Report necessary maintenance items
Follow all safety and sanitation policies
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Previous hospitality leadership, minimum of three years, experience required
Specific housekeeping experience is preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and Property Manager systems preferred
University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
Working knowledge of financial reporting structures (budgets, labour, productivity, revenue, expenses)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Must possess a meticulous eye for detail
Highly responsible & reliable
Demonstrated ability to lead in a cohesive and supportive team environment
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
