About us:

At Banff Sport Medicine, we are collaborative, innovative, and patient-centered, delivering excellence in sport medicine and advance musculoskeletal healthcare.

Our office is looking for a Front Desk Medical Office Assistant to join our team at our location in Canmore. The successful candidate will be part of a tight-knit administrative group providing exceptional support to our patients and physicians.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to multitask and problem-solve, and must be friendly and outgoing while possessing the following skills:

Excellent computer knowledge (MS Office)
Work well in a team setting but also be able to work independently
Thrive in a dynamic, evolving, and fast-paced environment
The successful candidate should have the following experience:

Minimum of 2 years working in a busy office environment
Experience working in an EMR (MedAccess) would be considered an asset
Responsibilities include:

Provide excellent patient care and maintain the strictest confidentiality
Provide support to the Physicians and other members of BSM team
Accurately maintain patient records
Process referrals, book and confirm appointments
Greet patients, review forms, explain next steps
Respond to inquiries (telephone, email, and fax)

Hours: 32 hours per week

Shift: 8am-4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
