SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the full-time position of Adventure Hub Associate to join our team for the summer. This position is seasonal with the possibility of an extension for the winter season.

Reporting to the Adventure Hub Supervisors, the primary goal of this role will be to ensure that guests are attended to in a timely manner. This person will also demonstrate outstanding customer service, be competent using a variety of software & POS systems and will ensure guest satisfaction is met by greeting guests, offering assistance and providing them with solid product information, whilst complying with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and determining their needs
Performing all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately
Maximizing sales opportunities to achieve store targets
Demonstrating knowledge of products and inventory to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensuring adherence to operating and security procedures at all times
Keeping knowledge up to date on all collections, product information and promotions
Assisting customers with booking SkiBig3, Resort specific and summer activity products
Communicate and work effectively with all SkiBig3, Ski Area and Third party ativity provider staff
Following proper rental procedures and ensuring safety standards
Cleaning, quarantining, and maintaining of SUPs and Kayaks
Maintaining a clean and orderly store floor
Executing opening and closing procedures
Qualifications & Skills:

Friendly, outgoing, excellent guest service skills
Able to work both as part of a team and individually
Time management skills, ability to independently manage own time and show initiative
Local knowledge including Banff & Lake Louise ski resorts is desirable
Exceptional communication skills and phone manner
Attention to detail
Demonstrated computer skills - knowledge of retail operating systems is an asset
Organized, efficient, responsible and mature
Ability to work in a high paced team environment
Ability to troubleshoot guest problems
Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments
Previous retail experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year insurance history is an asset
Other Requirements:

Candidate must reside in The Bow Valley
Valid working visa/work permit required
