Job Description
The Summer Retail Key Holder provides an outstanding guest service experience, ensuring a positive experience for all staff, guests, and customers of the designated retail locations at the Resort. Key Holders are an integral part of the team, tasks are always completed for store upkeep and providing quality customer service. This position is responsible for the opening and closing of designated retail locations, restocking merchandise, and maintaining high standard of organization and cleanliness in all designated areas. The Retail Key Holder reports to the Retail Assistant Supervisor, the Retail Assistant Director, and to the Retail Director, and works closely with the Retail Inventory Supervisor and many Resort departments.

Job Functions

Guest Experience
Provide guests with an outstanding service experience.
Delivering confident Product Knowledge to help guests make informed purchase choices.
Go above and beyond to help guests find the right product.
Independently manage store daily tasks and upkeep store standards.
Receiving/Set-Up
Receive new product orders, manage all purchase order paperwork requirements.
Organize new product to be displayed in store(s), maintain stockroom.
Tagging/stickering of new product.
Assisting with merchandising and set up with the direction of the store/fixture planograms.
In-Season Responsibilities
Collecting/ returning all floats and depositing the daily cash drop. Ensuring that daily float(s) have accurate assortment of change to bills.
Unlocking/locking the store location and disarming/alarming. Opening/closing register and running necessary reports at start and end of day.
Assist with managing lunch breaks and appropriate staffing levels.
Assist management with guest complaints/ returns and warranties.
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
Assisting with physical inventory.
Experience/Requirements

Retail or related sales experience is required.
Positive, outgoing, and friendly attitude.
This position required accuracy, attention to detail, and an ability to self motivate.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Prepared to work a flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, evenings, additional time during busy periods).
Must communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
Must be neat, alert, punctual, and dependable.
Must maintain professional conduct when in uniform and when acting as a company representative.
Additional Considerations

Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
This is primarily an indoor position, but is in a remote, alpine environment and employees must wear appropriate footwear and layers for the conditions. Some uniform pieces are provided.
This position at times works alone, handles cash, and personal information.
This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Village Employee Handbook, Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code.
