Full job description
Overview:
Mount Norquay Ski Resort in Banff National Park is looking for a Parts Person to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain management, have experience in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring parts within a mechanical setting. We are looking for someone who is a problem solver and highly organized. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied and interesting role, in a fun, ski resort environment.

Duties:
- Source and procure parts for internal use
- Work closely with suppliers to buy or fabricate necessary parts
- Utilize systems to track inventory, orders, and process shipping and receiving
- Collaborate with the mechanical team to ensure accurate parts selection
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a parts person role or similar position
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand part specifications and compatibility
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers and team members
- Proficiency in sourcing parts efficiently to meet demands
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain organized records
- Familiarity with sleds, quads, cars, trucks, heavy duty vehicles and snowcats an asset - Having own vehicle an asset

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

-Comfortable working both inside and outside in all weather conditions

-Capable of lifting 50lbs
