Are you ready to take the reins of Good Folk—a fresh, vibrant concept located in the brand-new Otter Hotel—is seeking a General Manager to guide our team and operations during an exciting launch year. This is a 1-year maternity leave coverage, but we’re building for the long term—and standout talent will always have a place at Banff Caribou Properties.

The Role
As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the restaurant’s daily operations and its opening success story. You’ll lead our FOH and BOH teams, champion service excellence, and help establish Good Folk as a must-visit culinary destination in Banff.

Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing all restaurant operations with a focus on exceptional guest experiences.
Hiring, training, and mentoring staff in a new, dynamic team environment.
Managing scheduling, budgets, inventory, and service standards.
Collaborating with the culinary and beverage leads to develop standout menus.
Cultivating a culture that is supportive, inclusive, and high-performing.
What You Bring
Proven leadership in restaurant or hospitality management.
Strong operational and people management skills.
A guest-first mindset with a passion for innovation and hospitality.
Ability to lead calmly under pressure, with a hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
