Join Canada’s Western Mountain Regional Sales Team and represent five iconic resorts in Western Canada, Fairmont Banff Springs, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Rimrock Resort Hotel (an Accor hotel).

Reporting to the Director of Group Sales at Fairmont Banff Springs, this position has the ability to be home based. The Regional Account Director will be responsible for leading sales initiatives within the US, to ensure goals at each property are exceeded. This individual should be experienced, creative and positive!

Competitive Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 gross annually (USD), based on previous experience & education

Note - Candidate must be based out of the United States

Job Duties Include:

Reporting to the Director of Group Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Exceed personal sales quota (revenue and activities), on behalf of all hotels in the Mountain Region
Have an aptitude to work with all types of business and adapt your selling style to the business (ie, incentive/corporate meetings, etc.)
Responsible for driving guest room ADR, while confirming F&B and ancillary spend
Actively prospect new business and develop key accounts on behalf of the region
Conduct routine & timely calls on a specific set of accounts within the US market
Participate in training, industry trade shows and sales trips as required, very limited
Collect market & competitive intelligence to access and implement strategy and long-term goals
Develop and implement quarterly action plans
Maintain an effective record of correspondence
Participation and contribution in Sales Meetings
Be able to work in a fast paced environment for short lead programs
Handle special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years hospitality sales manager experience
Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree is an asset
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven seller with a professional, positive and team focused approach to goal attainment
Ability to travel and work flexible hours and days
Goal oriented and organized
Travel as required
