Job Description At the Fairmont, we are looking for a successful and enthusiastic Adventure & Experiences Supervisor who will assist in bringing programming and events to life from conception through to completion. Your vision and leadership Adventure & Experiences Supervisor will ensure an engaged team, efficient operations – and service that exceed the expectations of every guest and client. Starting Rate: $27.61 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.27. Job Duties Include: Reporting to the Adventure & Experiences Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Oversee scheduling, logistics, and execution of special events, activities, and programs. Manage team schedules, onboarding, and daily operations while maintaining budgeted hours. Communicate with partners, vendors, and guests to ensure seamless event experiences. Provide input on industry trends, review marketing materials, and suggest creative program additions. Handle guest concerns, oversee departmental programming, and act as the on-duty leader when required. Qualifications Your Skills & Qualifications: Degree / Diploma preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree. Standard First Aid certificate At least 2 years’ experience in programming, entertainment or event planning. Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism. Must be highly responsible, self-motivated, creative, energetic and organized. Phenomenal customer service ethic and high expectations for quality. Strong knowledge of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Additional Information Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
