Moxy Maintenance (SEASONAL POSITION)

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a rockstar to join our engineering team in a fun and spirited twist. As an engineer, you'll be responsible for guest satisfaction by maintaining mechanical and ensuring technical operations at the Moxy run smoothly and efficiently while keeping the highest standards of conditions.

But we're not just looking for someone who can fix an HVAC unit - we want someone who can bring a positive, high-energy Moxy culture to life in the Engineering department. That means being proactive, engaging, and understanding why maintenance plays a pivotal role in guest satisfaction.

What you are responsible for:

Ensures that all maintenance tools are in good working condition and stored neatly and securely in the maintenance room
· Clean assigned public areas throughout the hotel

· Follow all safety and sanitation policies

· Picks up loose trash and debris, empties trash containers as needed

· Maintains cleanliness of storage areas, furniture storeroom, maintenance room, boiler room and flammable storage containers

Tracks and records work completed/repairs
Makes repairs in a timely and professional manner
Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
Offers guest assistance as needed
· Will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended period)

· Taking a hands-on approach to their work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping).

· Providing courteous assistance to guests and team members as needed, reinforcing all Moxy Hotel policies and procedures.

· Leading by example at an extremely high level

· Actively work to be a part of high functioning, motivated and engaged team.

· Maintaining the highest of cleanliness standards according to Moxy Standards

· Maintain a safe working environment.
