Description

Base Area Custodians provide outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for cleaning and maintaining public and office areas including washrooms as well as answering guest queries. Custodians collaborate closely with other team members, operating under the supervision of the Foreperson and reporting directly to the Base Area Supervisor. This is a physical position requiring manual labour, lifting, and carrying.

Job Functions
Provide excellent guest service.
Maintain overall cleanliness of washrooms, floors of public and office spaces throughout the base area buildings.
Efficient removal of garbage and recycling.
Willing and able to answer questions about the mountains and operations.
Assist with managing inventory of cleaning supplies.
Notify supervisor regarding the need for repairs.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements
Effectively communicate and comprehend detailed instructions in English.
Passion for providing outstanding guest service.
Previous cleaning experience in a professional cleaning environment is considered an asset.
Previous repair/maintenance experience considered an asset.
Energetic, self-motivated and positive attitude.
Excellent time management, problem, solving and team work skills.
Attention to detail with the flexibility to shift focus based on need.
Additional Considerations
Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgement, and report to work fit for duty.
This position requires the ability to stand, squat, bend, and lift for long periods of time.
This role may operate hand tools.
Custodians work in a remote, alpine environment, and at times independently.
This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Employee Handbook, the HR Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code.
