Banff Caribou Properties is looking for a passionate and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team! In this dynamic role, you'll support our employees and leaders across the company by providing expert HR guidance, hands-on support, and impactful training. You'll play a key part in fostering a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace culture.

What You'll Do:
Be the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers.
Develop and deliver engaging training sessions for employees and leaders.
Coach and support managers on performance, conflict resolution, and employment standards.
Respond to employee concerns with empathy and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
Manage the HR inbox and triage inquiries effectively and efficiently.
Assist with WCB claims, modified work arrangements, and coordination with payroll.
Track and coordinate mandatory certifications (First Aid, Food Safe, etc.).
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and internal documents.
Guide employees through immigration processes including PR and work permit applications.
Provide support with our HRIS (Dayforce), including training and troubleshooting.
Champion employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
Identify and coordinate external funding opportunities (e.g., grants and bursaries).
Participate in recruitment interviews and HR-focused events.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and healthy workplace for all.
Support with various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What You Bring:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of HR experience (hospitality industry experience is a bonus).
Solid understanding of employment legislation (federal and provincial) and WCB practices.
Skilled in training facilitation and leadership coaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and ideally, experience with Dayforce or a similar HRIS.
A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
