What can you expect?
Front Desk Agent provides an outstanding guest experience by creating a warm and welcoming environment. As a Relief Night Auditor, they are responsible for auditing and ensuring the accuracy of all guest charges while ensuring guest’s needs and expectations are met to the set standards of the hotel.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:
Review all hotel guest folios to ensure all guests are charged correctly for their hotel stay, including posting all lift ticket charges and processing season pass usage for all hotel guests.
Reconcile all Food & Beverage, Retail, and Outlet charges to guest folios.
Reconcile credit/debit card payments to the Property Management System and settle the payment batches.
Complete accurate, daily cash-outs.
Answer guest inquiries and fulfill requests regarding hotel (and area) services and facilities.
Assist guests with check out, their luggage and equipment.
Evening/Early Morning front desk coverage for hotel guests.
Send out daily Hotel Management & Statistical Reports to Management.
Compile and post the early AM Snow and Grooming Reports.
Provide quality guest service.
Assist guests with all aspects of reservations in a knowledgeable manner; requires thorough understanding of Sunshine Village’s services and products.
Deal with challenging guest situations in a friendly and professional manner; this includes using the switchboard and dispatch in the event of emergencies.
Other duties as assigned including cross-departmental utilization in night audit, concierge, and janitorial departments.
And you have:
Passion for providing excellent guest service.
Strong accounting background; previous hotel experience preferred.
Positive attitude, excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Previous payment handling experience.
Strong computer knowledge – Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to problem solve independently and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to use own initiative and a positive attitude.
Current First Aid and CPR preferred.
Front Desk Agent - Relief Night Auditor role - Work evening shifts; must work well on own.
Additional Considerations:
Employees must always be of a sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
Some required uniform pieces are provided. Candidates must be prepared and wear appropriate footwear, gloves, layers, etc. for the conditions of an indoor/outdoor role at a ski area.
This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Village Employee Handbook, Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code.
