Bus Drivers are in a highly visible role and works in a high-functioning environment providing safe, reliable, dependable, and efficient transportation of team members and guests to and from the resort daily. Bus Drivers operate within the towns of Banff and Canmore, are comfortable with highway driving, and navigating congested areas. Drivers must adhere punctually to the bus schedules. Bus Drivers report to the Transportation Supervisor (or designate) and liaises with third-party transportation operators, and the base area departments at the Resort. Key Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining passenger busses in a clean, and professional manner. Providing strong customer service, interacting directly with guests and staff members, anticipating needs, assisting with equipment when required, and being knowledgeable about resort operations and services. Timely and accurate documentation e.g., logbooks, ridership/equipment statistics, maintenance, training. Communicating any unusual operating conditions e.g., mechanical, operational, environmental Experience/Requirements: Be at least 21, possess a valid AB Class 2 driver’s license with Q endorsement, clear driver’s abstract (3 years minimum history) and suitable driving references. Demonstrated experience driving in winter conditions. Positive, mature, and friendly attitude along with being neat, alert, punctual and dependable Prepared to work flexible schedules e.g., weekends, holidays, nights, extended hours Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions (appropriate footwear, layers, gloves, etc.) Able to work effectively under pressure and maintain patience. This position requires the ability to drive for long periods of time, lifting (up to 15kg), Pushing/pulling (up to 20 kg), kneeling and crouching.
