Summary Description:

This position is a key part of the SkiBig3 Marketing team with a focus on supporting a wide cross-section of the marketing and communication needs for the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the primary focus of this role is to support marketing campaigns, content creation, website strategies, community activations and local events.

Organizational Relationships:

SkiBig3 internal departments: Marketing, Sales, Reservations, Admin, Accounting
SkiBig3 Adventure Hub
Resort partners: Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, Mt Norquay.
Pass partners: Ikon Pass, Mountain Collective
Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Website Content

Work with the marketing team to develop a full-funnel approach to website content development.
Oversee website content integration, updates and landing page development
Ensure brand consistency across the site
Oversee customer facing aspects of website content ensuring timely updates for sales promotions, deadlines, and seasonal information.
Establish and maintain SEO strategies.
Copy writing and blog content creation, both in-house and with external content creators.
Ensure mobile app content is updated seasonally.
Work with Data Analytics team to monitor and improve website content and conversion opportunities.
CRM

Maintain a weekly newsletter schedule aligned with marketing promotional deadlines.
Draft weekly newsletters within CRM system.
Draft and schedule seasonal pre-arrival emails.

Collateral Development

Work with Sales & Marketing team to coordinate sales & marketing collateral needs.
Coordinate SWAG & collateral needs for marketing team within budget - planning, ordering, inventory control
Coordinate production of SkiBig3 perk awards (e.g. Trifecta Challenge), and maintain inventory/distribution to the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub.
Assistance with the development of signage needs for the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub and other parts of the organization as required.
Assist with the development of collateral materials in conjunction with Sales promotions, trade shows, and travel trade partners.
Content Development

Assist with the develop content calendar
Write blogs as required to support external communications and promotions
Work with the marketing team to support organic and paid social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube.
Recruit and manage relationships with external content creators including contracting, operational logistics, and project management.
Community Initiatives / Communications

Oversee community activations including sales promotions at the SkiBig3 Adventure Hub, Banff & Lake Louise Tourism and SkiBig3 activations and events for external audiences.
Support internal communication requirements – may include writing, posting, sharing and process documentation.
Oversee community promotion of local FAMS and resort community days.
Oversee community initiatives, outreach and partnerships as related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Participate in the SkiBig3 SEAC committee on behalf of the marketing department.
Coordinate development and activation of prize packages for SkiBig3 contests
Assist with responding to questions and guest feedback as required.
Experience Required:

Strong understanding of Social & Digital advertising
Experience working within CSS systems: WordPress and/or Tailwind
Project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with SEO strategies and Google Analytics preferred
Curiosity in marketing strategy and best practices.
Bachelor degree in marketing or communications
Min. 3 years experience in tourism related organization
Other Requirements:

Ability to legally work in Canada required.
