What can you expect?
The Accounts Payable & Purchasing Assistant will assist the Accounts Payable & Purchasing Supervisor in successfully executing the Accounts Payable & Purchasing function, as well as act as support for other Accounting & Guest Services functions.
This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:

Executing the Purchasing & Accounts Payable function, including:
Purchase Order & Disbursement Requisition review & processing.
Entering invoices into accounting system.
Processing employee Expense Reports.
Preparation and execution of bi-monthly cheque runs.
Reconciliation of vendor accounts, including investigation & resolution of discrepancies.
Maintaining a current company vehicle list and corresponding registration cards.
Overseeing and maintaining the Purchasing e-mail inbox.
Overseeing and maintaining the Accounts Payable filing system.
Assisting with other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required.
Assisting with and supporting additional Accounting and Guest Services functions, as and where required:
E-Commerce processing.
Guest Services, season pass fulfilment (season pass printing and mailing).
Guest Services and Ticket Windows: selling tickets at Guest Services during peak business periods.
Other duties may be requested and assigned from time to time.

And you have:
Previous accounting experience is desirable but not critical
A friendly, positive attitude and you love helping people
A superb eye for details and excellent time management skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong math and data entry skills
Strong computer skills, with experience adapting to new systems/programs, typing, data entry, etc.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving/analytical skills.
Capacity to work independently and with a team.
Prepared to work a flexible schedule (may include weekends and holidays).
You enjoy helping out other team mates and departments
