SkiBig3 is currently seeking a full-time junior software engineer who will work on our software development and will be able to create reports used for business decisions.

Organizational Relationships:

This position will be part of the SkiBig3 Information Technology Team. Working together with all other SkiBig3 departments and Banff Sunshine, the Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt Norquay.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Software development and implementation
Create reports that can better inform business decision making
Assist with day to day operations during the ski season
Work with the team to improve data flows, integrations between multiple platforms and systems
Assist in researching new systems to replace existing, stale systems
Support, maintain and assist with updating current software suite and documentation
Qualifications & Skills Required:

Good SQL knowledge (MS SQL Server is an asset) and interest to create reports (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
Good knowledge of programing in at least one of the following language: high level OOP language like C#/Java or JavaScript
Interest to learn C# and JavaScript (Node.js and Vue.js)
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Software development experience
Ability to use the command-line interface
Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems is an asset
Strong sense of curiosity – analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Fast learner
Passion for skiing/snowboarding welcome
Other Requirements:

A Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science is required, along with 1 year relevant experience
Legally entitled to work in Canada
This position is based in Banff
