We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they are delivered to the customers ensuring high quality and contentment. The ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment . Please be flexible with the ability to work morning and evenings.

We seek a creative and proficient candidate who is qualified in all aspects of food preparation. You will be in command and maintain complete control of the kitchen.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Recruit, hire, train and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Monitoring inventory, ordering , comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities.

Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified
Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
Maintain records of payroll and attendance
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
Requirements

Proven working experience as a Head Chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Working within the company’s health & safety policies and practices and report any hazards or incidences immediately.
Ensuring that the work area is clean, tidy and free from hazards.
Actively promote a healthy, clean, safe, secure and productive working environment whilst working in the restaurant
Reports to the Managing Director.
