Banff Hospitality Collective or as we like to call it ‘BHC’, is a multi-concept restaurant and entertainment company with 11 venues and counting. All our venues are unique in their own right but have a few things in common: 1. They are all located in beautiful downtown Banff. 2. Serve amazing food and beverage 3. Have wicked atmospheres powered by even cooler people.


BHC is looking for an organized and success-driven individual to help open and lead our newest venue. This exciting new concept will be a food driven, fun-forward addition to downtown Banff’s culinary offerings - sushi, Japanese BBQ, charcoal, smoke, cocktails, sake, beer all at the end of Bear Street. As Assistant General Manager, you will contribute significantly to the success of the company by participating in planning, opening and continued daily operations of the restaurant, in conjunction with the General Manager and BHC’s Restaurant Operations team. Experience in Japanese cuisine is helpful. Are you ready to take your career to the next level with us?


What You’ll Do:

If it’s happening in the restaurant, you are a part of it! Planning, executing, elevating - you do it all. Sometimes alone, sometimes with the General Manager.
You like systems and processes, so you’ll focus on getting those right for your team
You do what it takes to increase sales and minimize costs without compromising quality

What You have:

Experience in Japanese cuisine is helpful
You’re a real people person - It's not just about customer service for you, it's about hospitality
You don't shy away from working with various types of technology and systems
We understand you want to get outside as much as possible, but you’ll need to have flexibility in your schedule
Proven success in a management role will make you stand out
