Reporting to the Regional Lead team, the Regional Campus and Learner Administrator will provide support to BVC students, and where applicable, other post-secondary institution students and promote BVC services and programs. This role is also responsible for providing administrative support to Regional Leads, Coordinators, and regional Faculty as well as ensuring success of the day to day operation of the campus.
 
Supports an inclusive environment in regional communities with all adult education organizations and assists BVC students, other post-secondary institution students Regional Leads as required.  A key role in the recruitment of regional programs 
•	Provides relevant and timely information, through email or in person, to prospective and current learners within the post-secondary education system: 
o	Advised students on application procedures, pre-requisites, processes, referrals to other post-secondary education providers
o	Assist prospective students to navigate through the post-secondary system and provide relevant information as required
o	Refer community members to other education opportunities in the region, including Community Adult Learning Programs, literacy organizations, and other grassroots learning pathways in the community
•	Accurate implementation of regional registration processes: 
o	Register students for programs, courses, and/or workshops at regional sites, either online or hard copy registration processes
o	Scan and e-mail applications and deposit information to Finance department, according to operation procedures
o	Process payments through Monaris machine system and follow processes accurately
o	Troubleshoot, with main campus, issues that arise
•	Proctor of BVC exams – scan and/or mail copies to main campus 
o	Proctor of other Post-secondary institution exams – scan and/or mail copies to institution
o	Maintain accurate tracking system and input information into database
o	Create reports and update Regional Lead team on registration outcomes and prospective learner inquiries
o	Complete reports to assist Regional Leads with appropriate business and program development opportunities.
o	Represent BVC and other post-secondary institutions at recruitment events including high school recruitment fairs, community meetings, and trade shows, as required.
o	Schedule appointments for visiting counselors, student advisors, and instructors
o	Maintain information about programs and services and keep bulletin boards, communication tools, and information displays up to date and relevant
o	May be required to work evenings and occasional weekends
o	Complete projects for Regional Stewardship Department, as required
Supervision of Regional Sites
 
Each regional site has been developed in a unique manner, depending upon the local opportunities.  In essence, the Client and Campus Services positions is responsible for the oversight and management of the regional learning space to provide a platform for program delivery, whether it be BVC or other education provider education options.
•	Assist and support coordinators, learners, and faculty for the successful implementation of programming
•	Coordinate scheduling of regional site space
•	Provide high levels of customer service, both internally and externally
•	Responsible that regional sites maintain consistent business hours and are available in accordance to programming demands and site utilization
•	Oversee day to day tasks and deliverables at the regional site
•	Report on campus activity
•	Identifie areas that the regional stewardship department can increase staff capacity to maintain and/or improve smooth delivery of programming, prospective learner inquiries, and registrations.
•	Set up classroom space to accommodate meetings
•	Maintain organization in campus – ensure space is professional and highly organized
•	Liase with Ancillary services, ITS to ensure campus is operational, in a timely manner
Job Requirements 
•	Post secondary certificate in Office Administration and at least 3 years of administrative experience
•	Excellent skill level using technology and troubleshooting
•	Ability to work independently
•	Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
•	Advanced MS Office Skills
•	Ability to establish effective working relationships
•	Ability to provide excellent client service
•	Demonstrates initiative and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
•	Able to successful manage workload and time
•	Excellent organizational and planning skills
•	Excellent communication skills
•	Sound knowledge of post-secondary education institutions
•	Comfortable navigating information online
•	Ability  to multi-task in a dynamic environment
•	Experienced working with databases - input and report
•	Possesses a driver's license
This is a full time temporary position for 1 year in Canmore. This posting will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
