Green Bottle Depot – Banff
Now Hiring: Permanent, Long-Term Manager

Company Overview
At Green Bottle Depot, we are committed to environmental sustainability and community service. Previous bottle depot experience is not required — we will provide comprehensive bottle depot and managerial training for the right candidate. The paid training period is approximately 8 months, and the successful applicant will continue to receive support from our Regional Manager on an ongoing basis.

Position Overview
The Depot Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the bottle depot operates efficiently and effectively, in compliance with BCMB, ABCRC, and BDL standards, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the bottle depot
Manage employee relations, training, and scheduling (4–7 employees)
Ensure accurate counts of recycled containers
Organize and coordinate shipments and bottle drives
Schedule and oversee commercial pickups
Perform basic building and machinery maintenance
Submit daily paperwork to our Edmonton-based head office
Qualifications

Strong communication and organizational skills
Supervisory experience with the ability to delegate effectively
Good physical condition; mechanically inclined
Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets) required; additional IT skills are a strong asset
Forklift certification is an asset
Compensation & Benefits

$20 – $23/hour (based on qualifications)
Paid bi-weekly
