As the Customer Service Administrator for the Town’s recreation facilities, you “Take care of Banff” by exceptional service delivery, which includes individualized, professional, helpful and attentive interactions with local and non-local users, groups and visitors. You are committed to helping people find what they need and to working both in front of and behind the scenes to ensure an impeccable facility experience.

You enjoy the challenge of blending a service approach that addresses the needs of seasonal and community user groups, and programs with commercial and event-based activities booked at the Town’s public recreation facilities.

As a service professional, you demonstrate exceptional interaction skills with respect, equity, inclusion and empathy. You have strong personal habits that allow you to maintain a professional focus and productivity in a busy work environment that is prone to interruptions. Your attention to detail allows you to pick-up where you left off.

You are comfortable interacting with community members and visitors in person, via email and phone. You bring your customer service experience to the role and having previously worked in a municipal recreation facility is an asset. You can demonstrate your experience and knowledge of the functions of Microsoft suite and point-of-sale software solutions applied to this role.

You are dedicated to providing service in various shifts, including weekends and holidays, in the 7-day a week operation. An RCMP criminal background check with vulnerable sector clearance and a current standard first aid certification are required on hire. Alternatively, you have a commitment to complete the required CPR certification course in one month from the start of employment.

For your safety and the safety of others, you will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations on your start date.
