As a Golf Cart / Range Attendant, you will be anticipating the needs of our guests through ensuring that each golfer has adequate practice equipment and power carts available to them during their visit. In addition to this, you will be supporting our operation through effective communication, organization, and sanitation practices. We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, has an eye for detail and a passion for organisation and providing exceptional guest service.

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Golf Operations Assistant Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Taking accountability for the golf cart fleet; ensuring carts are clean, stocked and properly stored, and regular cart checks are performed with any concerns immediately communicated.
Communicating effectively with the Guest Service Attendants to ensure that the movement of rental carts are reflecting the daily requirements.
Maintaining cleanliness of the cart washing area and cart barn as well as the garbage and recycling station.
Taking responsibility for organization and cleanliness of the driving range and practice facility; ensuring the areas have the appropriate stocks of range balls, bunkers are raked, and areas are clean and free of debris at all times, as well as interacting with, and anticipating the needs of, golfers using the facilities.
Operating the range picker machine as required throughout the shift to ensure adequate amount of range balls are picked, cleaned and restocked based on business volume.
Other duties as assigned.
Your experience and skills include:
Class 5 Drivers License and updated drivers abstract
Able to work flexible hours (early morning, evening and occasional split shifts)
Ability to deal with high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well within both a team setting and an independent setting with limited supervision
Proactive with a demonstrated eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple functions
Knowledge of the game of golf and its principles surrounding etiquette would be advantageous.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Lifting Required: (50 lbs.): Golf bags, crates of golf balls, boxes of bottled water, etc
Repetitive Tasks/Movements: Standing/walking for extended periods
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
