Full job description
STOP SCROLLING — YOUR DREAM JOB IS RIGHT HERE!

Ready to dive into the exciting world of weddings and events? Are you passionate about décor, design trends, and helping make moments unforgettable? You’ve just found your perfect opportunity.

We’re not a hotel, restaurant, or retail store — we’re a creative, fast-paced event rental company where trendsetters, design-lovers, and customer service professionals thrive. At Mountain Event Rentals, we help bring events to life with stunning rental items and premium service. We’re growing — and looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Rental Coordinator to join our fun-loving, supportive team.

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll help clients design one-of-a-kind events using our extensive collection of rental items — from elegant table settings to stylish furniture and everything in between.

Think of it like retail, but with a creative twist — everything is returned to us (on purpose!), and every event is different. You’ll collaborate with clients, create quotes, offer expert advice, and make magic happen for weddings, galas, festivals, private parties, corporate functions, and more.

This is the perfect job for someone with a background in retail, events, customer service, food & beverage, or accommodations — or anyone with a flair for design, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for people.

WHO WE ARE

Based in beautiful Banff, Alberta, Mountain Event Rentals is the go-to source for top-quality event rentals in the Rocky Mountain region. Whether it’s a luxury wedding or a community celebration, our goal is to deliver impeccable results — and have fun while doing it.

We believe in work-life balance, mutual support, creativity, and high standards. Our team is small but mighty, and we’re always learning, laughing, and levelling up together.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Greeting clients and answering inquiries with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
Guiding clients through our rental catalogue, helping them choose items that bring their vision to life.
Hosting showroom visits and creating table mockups that wow.
Creating quotes, estimating labour and delivery costs, and finalizing rental contracts.
Managing multiple client files and deadlines with ease and efficiency.
Collaborating with our operations team to ensure smooth event logistics.
Communicating with clients, venues, and vendors via phone and email.
Attending venue visits and occasionally assisting with event setups.
Supporting trend research and assisting with purchasing decisions.
Maintaining a clean, inspiring showroom and workspace.
Occasionaly pitching in with textiles, florals, or warehouse tasks as needed — no two days are the same!
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Excellent communication and people skills (English required; other languages a plus!)
Friendly, team-oriented attitude and a love for helping others
A creative eye and interest in design, décor, and visual styling
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease
Previous experience in retail, events, hospitality, or customer service
Comfort with tech (POS systems, email, spreadsheets) and basic math skills
A desire to grow and be part of something exciting, creative, and collaborative
WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITH US

A welcoming, supportive team where everyone’s ideas matter
A fast-paced, creative role where no two days are ever the same
Long-term growth potential in a thriving event industry
A fun, inclusive, and upbeat company culture
Beautiful location in the heart of Banff and the Bow Valley
Work-life balance — because your well-being matters, too
