Your primary responsibilities will include:
As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in our tax and forward-focused firm by:

Data Management Services: Efficiently handle periodic financial data management operations for varied clients, including but not limited to preparation of payables, receivables, bank and credit card reconciliations, GST/HST returns, payroll processing, etc., ensuring deadlines and time budgets are met.
Compilation Engagement Reports: Prepare Compilation Engagement Reports and corporate and personal income tax returns as required.
Client Engagement: Understand clients' businesses, identify and resolve data management, accounting, and tax issues, adding value to their operations.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks Online, other bookkeeping software, and related applications for various client services and to provide effective and efficient data management solutions.
A successful candidate will have:
Experience: 1-4 years in a full-cycle bookkeeping environment or public practice firm.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of QBO, MS Office 365, and proficiency in other bookkeeping software and related applications.
Aptitude: Enjoys continuous challenges, working with technology and is dedicated to on-going learning to drive improvements in efficiency and client experience.
Communication: Effective communication skills with a dedication to client service.
Professional Standards: Uphold high ethical standards and exemplary organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Education: CPA designation is not required for this role.
Start Date: October 2025.
