Medical Office Assistant – Part-Time (with Summer Expansion)
Location: Alpine Medical Clinic, Banff, Alberta
Work Remotely: No

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Medical Office Assistant to join our team in a permanent part-time position with extended hours available during the summer months (June, July, August).

Schedule

Permanent, year-round hours:

Monday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Additional summer coverage (June–August):

Wednesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Please note: There is always opportunity to pick up additional shifts throughout the year, including weekends, to cover vacations or support clinic needs.

We’re looking for someone who is:

A positive, energetic multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
Skilled in both verbal and written communication
Able to remain calm under pressure and maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality
Available for occasional daytime, evening, or weekend coverage when needed
Assets:

Previous experience in a medical office or administrative role
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Comfortable using computers and office software
Social media management experience is a bonus

Job Duties:

Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
Booking appointments and managing schedules
Answering and routing phone calls
Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail
Assisting with basic administrative tasks
Supporting clinic communication, including social media updates
