We are currently seeking a full-time Laundry Runner, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 30-40 hours per week.

Summary of position:

The Laundry Runner is responsible for the transport of linen cards with clean laundry to the storage closets on each floor and to replenish linen and towels based on the amount for each floor noted on the distribution form. Other responsibilities include the cleaning and organizing of items in our supply, storage and linen closets.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Demonstrate a working knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures as required in order to maintain a secure and safe environment for guests and employees
Ensure ample to supply of linen and amenities are stocked in housekeeping closets on each floor
Remove all dirty linens/towels from laundry chute for proper handling
Remove all trash, bring it to the dumpster and sort out recycling; place in proper spots
Perform cleaning duties on assigned side
· Clean vending/laundry area and remove trash

· Clean inside windows

· Sweep and mop stairwells and floor

Any other assignments assigned by the Laundry Manager or Supervisor
Essential Function:

Prolonged periods of standing/walking
Must be able to work independently without immediate supervision
Ability to visually check work, work area and hotel spaces
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling
Occasional ascending or descending of stairs
Other requirements:

Knowledge of English language enough to engage guests in conversation
Ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to communicate with all managers, supervisors and fellow associates
Be well groomed and conform hotel dress code
