JOB SUMMARY

Leitner-Poma Canada, Inc. is seeking a skilled & detail-oriented Ski Lift Installer to assemble machinery, survey, excavate, pour concrete for the foundation, and partner in the overall installation of ski lifts. This role will need to hike up and down the mountain each day to reach the job site, and work at high altitudes & severe environmental conditions. This is a seasonal, hourly position hiring at $25.00-$40.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assemble and install complex machinery in various outdoor environments & altitudes.

· Assist others in successful rigging operations, following all safety & operational procedures.

· Cable-load & unload large project components via transport helicopters throughout the job site.

· Excavate and pour concrete for the foundations of ski lift towers and loading/unloading stations.

· Operate a variety of hand and power tools as needed (tape measures, power drills, shovels, etc.).

· Work with installation project manager to identify and resolve problems or issues on the job site.

· Adhere to CCOHS and Environmental regulations throughout all stages of the project.

· Safely perform all duties of this position without significant risks to self or others, including following proper safety & incident-reporting procedures.

· Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools & materials are in their proper place(s).

· Performs other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma/GED/CAEC equivalent.

· Ability to perform physical work at ground-level and tower height with power tools, cranes, heavy loads, and various heavy machinery.

· Ability to work at high altitudes & severe environmental conditions such as extreme heat & cold.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

· Proficient in the English Language.

· Authorized to work in Canada.

· At least 18 years of age.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience in the ski lift industry.
