Full job description
We’re seeking a Sushi Chef to join us at Hello Sunshine! This retro restaurant & karaoke bar features eye-catching fire tables, a sushi bar, groovy décor and all the good vibes. Complete with 2 karaoke rooms and a bonus Tiny Bar, this place has everything our guests are looking for and more. What You'll Do:

You will utilize your expertise to prepare and cook menu items and customize customers' orders to accommodate food sensitivities
You’re an important part of quality assurance by following instructions and presentation specifications, and having ingredients properly dated and organized
You will work closely with the management teams as well as the team members in both the Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) to ensure timely and efficient service
Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to all health and safety procedures
What You Have:

Passion, experience, and knowledge of various types of sushi
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef required
Proficient in the art of sushi preparation, excellent knife skills, fish butchery, and rolling techniques
Strong leadership skills, and ability to train and lead team members
Great attention to detail and creativity
Excellent work ethic and communication skills
You thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
