What will you do in this job?:
Oversight of Brazen Restaurant, Banquets, two lounges
Reports to Hotel Manager
Continue to drive guest and employee experiences while assisting with the recruitment, training, development, and retention of high-quality team members
Create and nurture a world class environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing exceptional service
Anticipate key issues and informational needs and discuss ongoing performance and functions that will enhance the performance of Food and Beverage Outlets
Preparation of monthly forecasting and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenues
Participate in the budgeting process – develop, implement, and manage the budget, forecast, inventory and operating cost for the various outlets to maximize revenue and minimize expense
Provide leadership and coaching that fosters an environment of problem solving, service, teamwork, accuracy, speed, improved business practices and attract and retain superior talent
Make employees and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader and guest safety advocate
Ability to manage all F&B and day to day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Establish strong partner-like relationship with hotel leadership team and all Pursuit Collection Managers and Directors based on deep understanding, acumen and knowledge of the company’s business, strategy, plans and performance of the Pursuit Collection Food and Beverage operations
Collect, communicate and lead the efforts to know and understand our customers, guest trends, innovation and product development
Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service level: review feedback from guests through social media and Guest Satisfaction Surveys and drive goals to increase scores
Staffing, training, development, staff meetings, scheduling and payroll submissions
Assist with planning and execution of functions and events throughout the outlets
Ordering, inventory and stock taking along with ability for coding and remittance of all invoices through the inventory management system
Oversee the inventory management system daily maintenance by the Chef and see that all recipes are integrated within Micros
POS development and programming co inside with menu development and inventory management system timelines
Assist in development and execution of F&B promotions within Farm & Fire
“Promise to Place” ensure sustainability and respect within the community
Maintain core standards as developed by F&B Shared Services
Adhere to People and Culture standard operating procedures
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
5 years’ experience in the hospitality and travel industries
Proven Food and Beverage Management experience

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software and POS)

Up to date with Food and Beverage trends and best practices

Thrives in a fast paced and high energy work environmen

Experience with best-in-class operating systems, training, staff development and the operational management of large and complex operations

Expertise in building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization, particularly with operating teams, line supervisors, seasonal staff

Able to create “fellowship” through modelling our core values and best practices

Capable of inspiring teams to drive speed and performance within the organization

Experience with financial management and creating strong employee and guest satisfaction

Strong experience across a broad range of food and beverage activities, meetings/events and functions
