Welcome! Banff Park Lodge Collection of Hotels operates 3 hotel properties - Banff Park Lodge, Bow View Lodge, and Peaks Hotel & Suites - and 2 restaurants - La Terrazza and Crave Mountain Grill - all with an ideal location, steps away from lively downtown Banff on one side and from the peaceful Bow River on the other.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Ensure guests' satisfaction from arrival to departure,
Ensure prompt and courteous communication with guests,
Handle escalated guest issues and find effective solutions,
Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and concerns,
Conduct Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.,
Verify billing, create room reservations, and process special requests,
Provide training and ongoing support to Front Desk team,
Maintain strong knowledge of the Hotel, its layout, services and all emergency and safety procedures,
Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences,
Foster a positive, collaborative and safe work environment for guests and staff,
And other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:

Effective leadership with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and can commit to minimum 6-12 months of employment
Has 1 to 2 years previous Hotel Front Desk or Reservations experience
Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail
Has a professional and friendly personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone.
Has proven problem solving, conflict resolution and guest service resolution skills
Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests
Has experience working with Microsoft Office and property management systems such as Opera/Opera Cloud
