The Central Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance for Banff Caribou Properties' commercial buildings, commercial laundry and downtown businesses. They lead a small team, provide 24-hour on-call coverage, and maintain excellent relationships with customers/tenants and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize, implement, monitor, and evaluate maintenance projects
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned disruptions
Coordinate supplies and contractors
Provide on-call response to emergency maintenance items outside of normal office hours
Monitor and implement departmental health & safety plan
Motivate, train, and lead maintenance staff
Ensure a safe work environment
Interact effectively with support departments
Skills and Experience:
Experience leading maintenance teams
Self-motivated, task-oriented, and results-driven
Logical, cost-effective, and efficient problem-solving skills
Personable, professional, and service-oriented approach
Ability to perform physical tasks safely
Comfortable working at heights
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
Valid Bobcat operator’s license, plumbing and or electrical experience is an asset
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and multiple on-call shifts per week.
