Our Groundskeepers keep our properties looking good and love being outdoors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pick up and remove all litter and garbage, from exterior corridors, courtyard and sidewalks of the hotel.
Aid with snow removal.
Position duties will evolve and change during the seasons.
Water and maintain flower boxes and planters.
Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, provide lawn care.
Maintain the safety and upkeep of guest areas in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the property
Work safely. Obey all health and safety policies and procedures and report injuries and hazards immediately.
Additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
This is a seasonal position beginning in May until the return to school
Alberta Driver’s license (class 5) or International Driving Permit is required.
Must be physically fit, as position requires bending and lifting.
Self-starter that can work with minimal supervision.
Energetic, can-do attitude.
Attention to detail and be willing to take ownership of his/her area.
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
