Full job description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fishing Guide to join our team. As a Fishing Guide, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional lake fishing experience to our clients. Your knowledge of fishing techniques, local waters, and ability to communicate effectively will ensure that our clients have a memorable and successful fishing excursion.

Duties:
- Lead fishing trips and provide guidance to clients on fishing techniques, equipment, and safety measures
- Navigate and operate a fishing boat
- Assist clients with casting lines and reeling in fish
- Identify different fish species and provide information on their habits and habitats
- Ensure compliance with fishing regulations and practice catch-and-release methods
- Maintain and clean fishing equipment, boats, and gear
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests

Skills / Requirements:
- Must have a Boat license (valid for Alberta)

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide clear instructions
- Strong time management skills to ensure smooth operation of fishing trips
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients

- Leadership abilities to guide and instruct clients during fishing trips
- Ability to educate clients on conservation practices and the importance of sustainable fishing

- Previous lake fishing guide experience (preferable)

- Passionate about Banff National Park

- Must live in the Bow Valley
