Reports to: Chief Engineer & Assistant Chief Engineer Scope To assist the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer in the complete operation of the Engineering Department. They will be responsible for maintaining the Engineering budget and delegating job duties as they arise. Duties & Responsibilities
- Administrative assistance to the Chief Engineer.
- General office duties including initiating purchase orders, time sheets, memos and PAF's
- Maintenance and upkeep of the filing system
- Sourcing materials required within the department, ensuring the best competitive prices.
- Purchasing and receiving goods.
- Organizing, prioritizing and delegating job requests.
- Follow up on all assigned jobs and report results to the Chief Engineer.
- Coordinating with the Housekeeping department, the annual room's maintenance program.
- Maintaining inventory of all Engineering stock.
- Attend internal meetings as required.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all departments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands
