Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food service and hospitality, and who enjoy working as part of a team.

Duties

Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly sweeping and mopping floors.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooks.
Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
Support kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as required.
Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
