Full job description
Full-Time & Part-Time, 3 Month Term Contract
As an Ambassador on Caribou Street, you will represent the Town of Banff and promote Caribou Street businesses. Working independently, you will initiate conversations and provide enthusiastic responses about the construction project, ensuring people visiting Caribou Street have a positive and safe experience during major disruptive work.

As a highly visible representative for the Town of Banff, you will engage with people in many different situations and your solution-based problem-solving skills will be on display as you help enhance the experience of residents and visitors using Caribou Street. You know Banff exceptionally well and you are an outgoing, approachable person who loves to connect with others and leave a positive lasting impression.

You must be able to meet the physical demands of this position, including standing and walking for several hours in a dusty environment, and in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, wind).

You must also be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic. Ideally you have completed Grade 12, and you have your First Aid Certification. A criminal record check will be required.

There is very limited housing available for this position so priority will be given to candidates already living in the area.

Anticipated Position Start Date - September 2nd, 2025

Anticipated Position End Date - December 1st, 2025

Hourly Rate of Pay - $20.74 to $25.93 per hour (wage determined based on qualifications of successful candidates)

Work Schedule - 7 days a week operation (including holidays) with both daytime and evening shifts, Flexibility is key as scheduling will be reflective of the needs of the businesses on Caribou Street
