Job Overview: The most important aspect of your position is to maintain excellent customer service, and help with any customer’s issues or questions that they may present to you.

You are to maintain a wide knowledge of Mt. Norquay and the surrounding area in order for you to be as helpful as possible. You enjoy working outdoors and should be capable of a semi-strenuous working environment. Staff accommodation is available

Requirements

Follow all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines- your safety is our first priority

Have strong communication skills to effectively work with coworkers and
customers

Possess the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced working environment

Follow procedures in accordance with appearance and uniform standards

Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service

Handle customer complaints in a professional manner, alerting your supervisor or
manager if you need to do so

Perform safety checks on the chairlift and fill out safety log

Must be familiar with assigned lift: brakes, electrical systems, mechanical drive

Maintain safe conditions by checking loading and unloading ramps constantly

Set up and maintain signs, temporary fences and mazes

Work and stand outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time

Help with crowd control on weekends and holidays

Potentially directing cars in the parking lot on busy days

Should be in good physical condition, able to lift up to 50lbs (ie. Help children onto tubes)

Able to work weekends and holidays and some evenings

Will follow and respect all the Covid-19 guidelines set by Mt.Norquay

Must be able to commit to the entire season November 2020 to April 2021
