The Town of Banff is seeking a responsible and reliable Office Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to “Taking Care of Banff” by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our office spaces.

This position will be responsible for daily cleaning of common areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and meeting rooms. Daily tasks will include vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting, and cleaning of surfaces (i.e.. counter tops, door handles, hand rails, etc.). The Office Custodian will also be responsible for stocking supplies (such as paper towel and soap) and performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.

You can work independently with minimal supervision and have a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness. You are physically able to perform a variety of tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending. You are reliable, punctual and able to work evenings and weekends. Experience in custodial or janitorial work is considered an asset.
