What can you expect?
The Room Checker provides an outstanding guest experience by participating in & assisting with the oversight of the daily tasks of the Hotel Room Attendant as required by the Housekeeping Supervisory Team.
They assist in ensuring the implementation of quality assurance standards and ensure guests’ needs and expectations are met.

This job might be right for you if you enjoy:
Supervisory duties
Assisting in managing a team of co-workers to ensure their section of rooms and public spaces are cleaned in a timely manner, serve as a departmental role model.
Complying with quality assurance expectations and standards, including inspecting sites & facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Room Attendant duties
Overall cleaning of the guest rooms to include, but not be limited to: dusting, making beds, removing soiled linen/ garbage, replenishing towels and amenities, vacuuming, spraying and wiping tile floor, cleaning bathroom, replacing dirty glassware
Ability to clean all assigned rooms per shift
Offering assistance to guest and colleagues in a courteous manner; answer guest inquiries regarding the area and hotel services and facilities
Cleaning & maintaining public spaces, areas and washrooms as required
Communicating with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Standing, siting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
And you have:
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Excellent organizational skills and able to demonstrate excellent guest service and encourage positive employee relations
Accountable for remaining productive and efficient while ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction
Exceptional interpersonal skills; a team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently, reliable; responsible and conscientious
Must be in excellent physical condition and able to lift very heavy items
Current First Aid and CPR preferred
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
