Scope

The Host provides a warm welcome and exemplary customer service to our guests as the first impression of their Eden dining experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
Greet and escort guests to the assigned table
Assist in service throughout the evening
Fold napkins, stock washroom amenities, and maintain dining room cleanliness
Answer telephone and accurately take reservations
Assist in guest departure
Administrative duties as assigned
Physical Demands
Requires significant standing and walking
Occasional sitting and use of a computer
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 11 pounds / 5 kg
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 pounds / 10 kg
Occasional bending and reaching above and below shoulder height
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
Alberta ProServe certification
Previous host or reception experience preferred
Restaurant experience is an asset
Excellent verbal communication skills
Warm, engaging personality
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Able to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks simultaneously
